We are committed to providing preventive dental care from birth toadulthood. We believe your child can grow up with the healthiest of teeth and a confident smile.
To help you and your family achieve this we run a special children's club when the whole practice is dedicated to children's activities and dental care.
Plaque Attack 2009 concentrated on ways of helping our younger patients look after their teeth well and also screened all those involved for early signs of decay that could be treated without fillings by carefully sealing and protecting the tooth surface.
Children feel comfortable and happy at our practice because we show them how to take care of their teeth during their various growth stages.
By running fun events alongside their appointments the environment becomes a familiar place and the key facts on caring for your teeth can be learnt as the children grow up through the practice.
Together we can understand the rules about what to eat and when so we enjoy life and have beautiful teeth. We set in place the oral healthcare habits that are needed to keep teeth and gums healthy.
We all need fun so we also learn how the rules apply to them as an individual, and how we can bend the rules occasionally, eating what they fancy sometimes and avoiding the damaging effects !
Leaving dental care to chance means poor habits develop - these can be masked by the taste of the toothpaste. Once bad habits are formed they can be extremely difficult to correct in later life, giving rise to the huge levels of gum disease we see today as well as the vast numbers of fillings needing to be placed every year.

Our full programme of standard Children's Dentistry is offered under the NHS but more flexible appointment times and a wider range of treatment options are part of the Children's Membership package with fees staring from £4.95 per month.
